After a very mediocre Szechwan beef in Moortown I ordered the same from the Empire. What a massive difference this was, very tasty with just the right amount of heat. The prawn crackers were the best I have eaten so we will be ordering again from the Empire

I have never had anything like this before it was disgusting, my partners rice was so stodgy it had never seen fried rice.it all went in the bin I was offered a refund if I took it all back but I couldn't get there to take it back so I wont be back and won't be recommending them to anyone ive only given a one star rating as I couldn't post without picking one

Best Chinese takeaway in the Idle/Thackley area in my opinion.

This food experience is one never to be repeated. Ordered sweet and sour chicken balls. They are so tough even the dog is struggling to eat them. Rice is over cooked. Wife's curry sauce is like washing up water. Absolutely disgusted. Unfortunately can't leave minus stars
